Moller, Huett, Foshay and Coleman, believe we must put more effort into our distance learning programs. The programs are suffering because we lack qualified people to conduct the teaching. They lack an assessment to measure the effectiveness of the
quality of the classes (Moller, Foshay.,Huett, 2008). With on line classes more people have access to an education at finest universities. Distance learning courses can offer more classes to students in small, rural communities and students who have limited resources. Many people who felt college was just a dream will have access to college courses. Fixing our e-learning programs will benefit everyone.
I do agree that e- learning needs improvements. It is very important to have qualified instructors who understand the curriculum. The standards need to be set as high as any college you would attend. E-learning can be a valuable asset to people living in remote areas and school systems who cannot afford to add classes.
